2008-2009 were team building years within our Engineering Department. Fred Cieri was promoted to Engineering Manager. Fred has over 20 years of product and tool design experience within our industry as well as a diverse background in manufacturing and product management. Fred’s team consists of Doug Derby and Dave Eno. Dave was recently hired on from a long time competitor and the two, combined, have over 34 years of experience within our industry and in programming 3 and 5-Axis machining centers. As such, quite a bit of emphasis has been given to engineering’s role within the machining areas with decreasing downtime, expediting new programs and increasing the efficiencies of this department. With the addition of Dave, we are a now a MasterCam Beta site thus we are at the forefront of 5-Axis CNC technology.
